We have been putting the finishing touches a Multiply Encoded Messages, a new podcast by MEM gallery in Ebisu which is now available for all to listen. For now, the podcast can be found through the gallery website as well as Spotify and in due course will be available on Apple Podcast. The first three episodes feature an interview with photographer Hiroko Komatsu whose new show also opens at MEM this coming Saturday, July 11.
Episode 1 is in English. 2 and 3 are in Japanese. Future episodes will feature a varied discussion on the work of the New York based painter Hitoshi Nakazato, interviews with the photographic duo Hiroshi Fuji & Katsuyuki Uomoto, with painters Yasue Kodama and Natsuki Tanihara, and many more. Stay tuned for new episodes added over the coming weeks and months.
